Cycling in the vineyards of Ktima Tselepos

The ride is ten kilometers long, on accessible earthen roads, with a small piece of street laid in asphalt that serves as a “bridge” between two paths.

The ride starts from the chapel of “Our Lady of Kouvliotissa” and continues under the plane trees, cherry and chestnut trees. The route climbs to the bare foothills of the mountains to the east and subsequently descends again towards the plain.

Along the way the riders will come across some old abandoned grape presses and admire their beautiful architecture, and if they are lucky enough, they might cross paths with herds of deer that graze freely in the area.

At scheduled stops the guides will talk about the region’s history and culture, myths, legends and traditions.

Our guides are members of the Social Cooperative Enterprise 5ENTE who have returned from other regions and live permanently in the area.
