From the privately owned arcadian vineyard at Melissopetra with a unique slate soil composition. Yield is very low at 360 kilos of grape per 1.000 sq.m. and harvesting begins in early September.
Wine and Wine-making
The grapes are crushed in pneumatic presses, clarified and fermented in stainless thnks with controlled temperature (13o-16o C) for up to 20 days. Skin contact at 10o C for 8 hours.
A balanced wine with finesse and character. Rich and complex aromas of tropical fruits, flowers and spices, and a refreshing, palette-cleansing acidity.
